At least nine people were killed when a Kikuube District police vehicle carrying four civilians and five officers Thursday afternoon crashed along the Kabaale-Kiziranfumbi Road in Hoima District.
Among the deceased, one was reported to be an investigator, three other officers and a police driver only identified as Raymond, who allegedly lost control of the police vehicle that crashed in Kiteegwa B Village, Kabaale Sub-county.
A month old baby and three murder suspects also perished as a result of the freaky accident.
It is common these days for accidents to happen constantly. Most of these accidents happen as a result of over speaking and the poor roads in Uganda both towns and villages.
Traffic police has done whatever they can to stop the accident but unfortunately it hasn’t helped that much.
Everyday so many accidents happen and huge number of people lose their lives while others are left severe injured.
The reports didn’t indicate why the Hoima accident that left 9 people dead happened and that hasn’t been revealed up to today.
The named of those in the accident haven’t also germ revealed but we will keep you updated.
