Leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, has graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Cavendish University. This achievement adds to his educational background, which includes a diploma in Music, Dance, and Drama from Makerere University.
Bobi Wine celebrated this milestone by echoing the words of Nelson Mandela: “Education is the tool you can use to change the world.” Recently, he spearheaded NUP’s efforts to equip party members with leadership skills by building and commissioning the Kavule Training School.
The National Unity Platform, a young party just four years old, boasts a significant number of lawyers among its ranks. Joel Senyonyi, the Leader of the Opposition, recently graduated with a law degree. Other notable members with law degrees include Mathias Mpuuga, Medard Ssegona, and the party’s Secretary General, David Lewis Rubongoya.
Joel Senyonyi expressed his excitement about Bobi Wine’s graduation, announcing, “Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing the newest Lawyer in town. Congratulations Munamateeka Omutendeke!”
