Singer Eddy Kenzo and newly appointed Minister Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro have ignited rumors with their frequent public appearances together, raising questions about the nature of their relationship.
Photos from Nyamutoro’s swearing-in ceremony at State House showed Eddy Kenzo accompanying her, fueling speculation about their closeness. Additionally, Nyamutoro was seen visiting Eddy Kenzo’s children during a school visiting day, further adding to the speculation.
Despite the rumors, both parties have vehemently denied any romantic involvement, insisting that they are simply good friends who have known each other for a long time, even before achieving fame.
“I cannot confirm that Eddy Kenzo is my boyfriend, but I do know him,” Nyamutoro stated in a recent interview. “Our friendship goes way back, even before I assumed my role as a member of parliament.”
While their friendship has raised eyebrows, both Eddy Kenzo and Minister Nyamutoro maintain that their relationship is purely platonic, rooted in their longstanding friendship from before their rise to prominence.
