Eddy Kenzo, President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), has dismissed persistent rumors about Vice President Sheebah Karungi’s alleged pregnancy.
The rumors began in May when media personality and YouTuber Isaac Katende, also known as Kasuku, claimed that Sheebah was four months pregnant and expected to give birth by the end of the year. The speculation intensified in June when Sheebah’s appearance at the Blu*3 Reunion Concert, featuring a noticeable tummy bulge, caught the attention of attendees and fellow celebrities.
Despite the swirling rumors, Sheebah has neither confirmed nor denied them. However, Eddy Kenzo, during an appearance on Sanyuka TV, firmly stated that the rumors are baseless. “I am in contact with her. She is not pregnant, that’s a lie. She has been performing endlessly, with shows across the country almost every weekend. That is wolokoso,” Kenzo asserted.
Sheebah recently announced her upcoming “Neyanziza” concert, set for October 4, 2024. Entertainment critics speculate that she may perform with a baby bump, following the trend of international divas she admires. However, Kenzo’s statements suggest that the pregnancy rumors are unfounded.
