The late Kato Lubwama family members have expressed their dissatification with events promoter Mariam Mutakubwa a.k.a Biggie Events whom they accuse of allegedly stealing funds from the “Cease-Fire” play that happened at Kampala Serena Hotel.
Based on the family’s representatives, they stressed that they didn’t get any coin from the play as they had earlier anticipated.
They went ahead to stress that the show organizer, Biggie Event, mismanaged everything about the event and made them make lots of blunders in the play.
They further noted that they anticipated the play not to be a one-day show as it had to make appearances in different places but based on Biggie’s plans it only ended at Serena which didn’t sit down well with the family members.
They claim to have requested Biggie Events to produce accountability for how she spent the money but she failed to avail it to them which makes them believe that she mismanaged the funds.
The family members furthermore claimed that the individuals who took part in the play have not been paid until now except the lead and established individuals who were part of the play.
