Singer Feffe Bussi has revealed reasons why he doesn’t regret not joining the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF).
He said he doesn’t see what it has added to other musicians who are registered in it for almost a year now.
The Federation was formed by Eddy Kenzo last year. He called fellow musicians to join him so that they can fight for their rights especially the copyrights.
However he used the opportunity to get money from government to help artistes especially those that struggling with everyday life like rent, food and even investing in their music.
Eddy Kenzo recently confirmed that government had actually given out money to artistes through the federation. He created procedure of how artistes are going to get the money.
However there has been more issues since he talked about the money that was released. Different artistes have come out saying they were denied money.
According to Feffe Bussi he is happy that he doesn’t have to go through all this drama just for the money as if it is supposed to be money meant for fighting for.
“I personally I don’t have regrets of not joining the federation. I am just happy that I don’t have to go through some drama just to get money that is government money,”
