Former member of parliament Hon Mubarak Munyagwa has revealed why he thinks that National Unity Platform (NUP) is not a political party but a fire base.
He said that people in NUP don’t act professional and they are just in because of the support Bobi Wine gets from his people.
Hon Munyagwa was previously in the opposition political party FDC. When NUP came along it overtook everything and he even lost his parliamentary seat to them.
He didn’t get a long with them and he is now saying that the reason why he doesn’t like them is because they are not authentically a political party.
“Nobody can control me, and I can’t be in NUP. I’m a liberated person. NUP isn’t a political party; it’s a fire base,” Hon. Mubarak Munyagwa,
It should be noted that Fire base is a camp that Bobi Wine built up when he was an artiste.
It was famously known as the one where people take drugs and beat up people once they come across them.
