Blu3 songstress Jackie Chandiru believes Vinka’s much-anticipated maiden concert is long overdue and should have happened a long time ago.
Since leaving her music management career to focus on singing, Veronica Lugya Nakiyingi, known as Vinka, has released several hit songs and won numerous awards. Her electrifying stage performances consistently leave audiences with long-lasting memories.
Despite her achievements, Vinka has yet to hold a concert of her own, sparking curiosity among fans about when she will take the stage for a solo performance. Ugandans on Twitter have even expressed their eagerness by petitioning her record label, Swangz Avenue, to organize a concert for her soon.
When asked about the timing for Vinka’s maiden concert, Jackie Chandiru, who recently delivered a spirited performance at the Blu*3 Reunion concert, stated that it is long overdue.
“I think it’s long overdue. She would have held her concert a long time ago because she is a star. I have a personal connection to her. She literally came up in my hands, and by the time they picked her as the Female Artist of the Year, I was beyond happy,” Chandiru said.
Fans and supporters are now eagerly awaiting an official announcement from Swangz Avenue regarding Vinka’s concert, hoping it will be organized soon.
