A man claiming to be the father of Winnie Nwagi’s child caused a scene this afternoon at the singer’s residence, demanding access to his child.
The incident unfolded as the man argued with a worker at the gate, questioning why he was not being allowed entry. Witnesses reported the exchange, with the worker asking the man, “Did Nwagi dump you? What are you doing here?”
As the situation attracted a crowd and police were called to the scene, the man was escorted away by officers. Throughout the encounter, he repeatedly insisted, “Ampe mwanawange” (Let her give me my child).
It is known that Winnie Nwagi, the singer, has publicly stated her stance on the matter, vowing never to surrender the child to the father. She has even expressed that, to her, the child’s father is deceased.
