Media personality Katamba Edwin also known as MC Kats is demanding accountability from singer and president of musicians under the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) Eddy Kenzo.
The singer had said that the federation received government money to help artistes start up businesses besides music.
But with the money, complaints have started coming in and some people like MC Kats are not happy with how the money is being distributed.
According to Katamba, the artistes supposed to benefit from the federation haven’t benefitted. Eddy Kenzo and his manager Betta have made it very hard for them.
He said the only people getting money are those that are friends with Eddy Kenzo and they are apparently driving new cars.
MC Kats said he would like to see the accountability of how the money has been spent that is when he is going to believe in whatever is being said by Eddy Kenzo.
“I am not happy with how the money in the Federation is distributed or allocated. I want accountability I want to see how the money was spent and that is when I will believe in everything being said,”
