The decision was made during a meeting held at State House on Tuesday, chaired by President Yoweri Museveni.
President Museveni ordered that the changes be implemented immediately, affecting all NRM chairpersons currently holding positions in various parliamentary committees. The Parliament is expected to designate new leaders during its plenary session this afternoon.
