Kampala Creme TV show star MamiDeb shared moments of joy and celebration as she introduced her husband, Micheal, to her parents during the Eid holiday festivities.
The occasion was marked by traditional Kiganda cultural attire, adding a rich cultural flair to the intimate gathering. MamiDeb was joined by friends, including her fellow co-star Etania, for a small yet elegant ceremony known as Kukyala.
In a post-event statement, MamiDeb explained her preference for a modest Kukyala, considering their plans for a larger Kwanjula (traditional introduction ceremony) and a destination wedding. She humorously remarked that her “sengas” (aunties) had other ideas, adding a touch of lightheartedness to the preparations.
Deborah and Micheal have been living together and have two children, residing in the upscale Kololo neighborhood. Despite their comfortable lifestyle, both Deborah and Micheal are entrepreneurs, with MamiDeb managing a luxury boutique and a chicken farm in Kayunga.
