Celebrated socialite Sheila Gashumba has decided to reconcile with her father after a series of public disagreements and questionable choices.
Gashumba announced her intentions on social media, acknowledging past mistakes, particularly in her dating life, where she often ignored her father’s advice.
Reflecting on her past, Gashumba emphasized the importance of clear boundaries and better decision-making in relationships. “Ladies, we should stop meeting people and automatically start dating! Men should start asking us, ‘Can you be my girlfriend?’ Then you weigh and say yes or no depending on how you feel. Those things of meeting people, then you start kissing and having sex, then you automatically call each other boyfriend or girlfriend, must end. We need effort!” she stated.
She also set new personal standards for her future relationships, declaring, “I’m personally not sleeping or dating anyone who doesn’t earn 10 times more than I earn again. Best believe I make very good money weekly, not even monthly. I’ve started taking my father’s advice! He actually has the realist advice on relationships and dating! You must be in a way higher tax bracket than me and not in shillings. I’m talking Pounds, US Dollars, Australian dollars, Euros, Canadian dollars, etc.”
Gashumba emphasized her commitment to her father’s guidance, promising, “I’ve started taking my father’s advice! He actually has the realist advice on relationships and dating! When I decide to date, I won’t even point a finger or toe or shoe of the person I’m with! So bambi, there is no launch day. We can be friends though. I’ve also promised myself not to fight with my father ever again. I must talk to him at least once a day, if things are bad then not more than 48 hours.”
Sheila recently ended her two-year relationship with singer Rickman Manrick and previously dated Marcus, aka God’s Plan, whose source of income remains a mystery.
