Team No Sleep (TNS) singer Joan Namugerwa, popularly known as Jowy Landa, has disclosed alarming details about her former manager, claiming he threatened to bewitch her to thwart her music career.
Jowy Landa shared that before joining TNS, her former manager subjected her to various forms of disrespect and mistreatment. She recounted instances where he would embarrass her publicly, physically assault her, and confiscate her mobile phone. These actions led her into a period of depression, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“My former manager threatened to bewitch me so that I would fail to become a star in the music industry, but since I have made it, I think the witch doctor he visited, his charms did not work. He should instead go back and get a refund of his money. Due to his mistreatment, I went into depression for a full year,” Jowy Landa revealed.
Despite the challenges, Jowy Landa expressed pride in her current success with TNS, stating that she has been doing well both musically and financially since joining the team. She has no regrets about the move and considers it a positive turning point in her career.
She also boasted about being one of the top artists at the moment, highlighting that her music is trending because of the thoughtful planning and execution behind her projects.
