On Wednesday, an Uganda Airlines flight departed for Zanzibar, carrying some of Uganda’s most talented producers, writers, managers, content creators, and artists. Among the passengers were notable figures such as Elijah Kitaka, Zagazillions, Azawi, Winnie Nwagi, Sir Jaylor, Zafaran, Benon Mugumbya, Julius Kyazze, and Vinka.
Swangz Avenue organized this retreat to shoot several music videos and record new tracks with some of East Africa’s top artists, all of which will be featured on the upcoming Swangz All-Star Album.
“Today, our artists, producers, and writers are headed to Zanzibar for a week-long creative retreat to begin recording the Swangz All-Star Album,” Swangz Avenue announced via Twitter. They added, “This album will feature some of Uganda’s most talented acts.”
The collaboration promises to bring together a diverse array of talents, showcasing the rich musical heritage of Uganda and fostering creativity and innovation within the industry.
