Renowned pastor Aloysius Bugingo is on the verge of tying the knot with his second wife, Suzan Makula, despite looming legal challenges from various quarters.
Bugingo, unfazed by the threats of legal action, remains resolute in his decision to marry Makula, asserting that he is prepared to face any legal ramifications that may arise.
The journey to Bugingo’s upcoming nuptials with Makula began in 2019 following his separation from his first wife, Teddy Naluswa, with whom he had been married for over two decades and shared four children. Despite their lengthy marriage, Bugingo opted to part ways with Naluswa.
Subsequently, Bugingo initiated divorce proceedings, yet Naluswa contested the request, citing a lack of grounds for divorce. Their legal battle has seen them engage in multiple court appearances, but a formal divorce decree has yet to be issued to either party.
Undeterred by the ongoing legal wrangling, Bugingo is pressing forward with his plans to wed Makula. He publicly announced the impending wedding during a church service, urging congregants to prepare new attire for the occasion.
Bugingo acknowledged the likelihood of facing legal challenges, but emphasized that his happiness with Makula outweighs any potential legal obstacles.
“I want my people to prepare new clothing because Suzan Makula and I will soon walk down the aisle. I know there may be legal issues, but that doesn’t concern me right now,” Bugingo affirmed.
