Ronald Alimpa, a once-prominent figure in the Ugandan music scene, has broken his silence regarding his recent absence from the industry.

Ronald Alimpa rose to fame when he sang his hit banger, “Lusaka Lwa Cement” single that hit and went viral for months.

In a candid revelation, Alimpa cited financial constraints and personal setbacks as the primary reasons for his musical break.

He recounted facing challenges while attempting to perform at certain venues, which further hindered his progress.

Notably, Alimpa enjoyed considerable success last year, with his name dominating conversations in the music circles. During this time, he garnered support from various benefactors, including traditional healer Mama Fina, who provided financial assistance for his music career and personal needs.

However, Alimpa’s trajectory took a downturn following an unfortunate accident, leading to strained relations with his management and a decline in his earning potential.

Reflecting on his circumstances, Alimpa acknowledged the need to reassess his priorities and took a step back from the music industry to focus on his well-being.

During this period, he turned to alternative means of income, such as making and selling chapatis, to sustain himself and his family.

“I resorted to making chapatis to earn a living,” Alimpa disclosed.

Despite the challenges he faced, Alimpa expressed optimism about his future in music, highlighting his readiness to resume his career with a fresh perspective and new management support.
