Upcoming artist Bizzy Nateete, known as the baby daddy of singer Winnie Nwagi’s daughter, Destiny Mirembe, has come forward with revelations about their relationship and his desire to establish a connection with his child.
Winnie Nwagi has been raising their 13-year-old daughter, Destiny Mirembe, as a single mother, representing herself as the sole caregiver since birth. She previously stated that Destiny does not know what her father looks like and described the challenges of raising her without his involvement.
However, a few months after Destiny’s 13th birthday, Bizzy Nateete visited Winnie Nwagi’s home, expressing his intention to build a relationship with his daughter.
In his account, Nateete explained that during their relationship, he was still a student in senior six (S6) when Winnie Nwagi became pregnant. He acknowledged that he tried to be a father but encountered issues that led to his absence from their daughter’s life.
Nateete shared his perspective on their history: “A few years back, I fell in love with a beautiful woman called Nakanwagi Winnie (Mamy Destiny) alias Winnie Nwagi. I was still studying, she was in senior six vacation. She got pregnant and we had our daughter named Destiny Mirembe Ssewatti. Later on, we faced various challenges and unfortunately separated. She raised our child, and when I tried to be involved and care for my daughter, I faced resistance.”
Despite the challenges, Nateete expressed his desire to establish a bond with his daughter, emphasizing that his goal is to have access to her life. He addressed misconceptions about his intentions, clarifying that he seeks to connect with his child rather than separate her from her mother.
