Mukibi Sadat AKA Khalifah Aganaga has also given his views on the ongoing talks about the Uganda National Musician Federation that was formed by Singer Edrisa Musuuza Aka Eddy Kenzo, the federation gave hope to many artistes that of years haven’t been gaining from their creatives.
Eddy Kenzo as an established artiste have been engagement with different stake holder to have the copyright law passed and put into enforcement by the Government. In his earlier efforts they came up with an interim committee that is to enable the push this to the last person.
After all Eddy Kenzo’s engagements, Bobi Wine during the burial of late Kato Lubwama paul talked to musicians and termed the federation as a group of baggers which rose concern by many and different musicians had to give in their views.
It was during an interview on Sanyuka tv, Khalifah trashed Bobi Wine’s sayings and declared that during his period in parliament he never brought any amendment on the flow of parliament in favor of the Music industry which made him to parliament.
Eddy Kenzo’s committee isn’t targeting government money as Bobi Wine is saying, they are streamlining the business and yet to benefit Bobi Wine too, let them engage with government to have this passed than fighting something that is progressing – Aganaga added.
People always say that Eddy kenzo isn’t educated but during the era of the educated big three they accomplished nothing and the claimed non educated is now making good moves for the industry – Aganaga said.
